Improving Ikea’s tablet experience In-store in order to ease the workload of the staff and enhance the in-store customer experience

Modular system

One of the key aspects of this design lies in its modularity. The concept was created to adapt to any context. The first tiles remain consistent, displaying the most frequently used features such as the map, search, and shortcuts to rooms and product menus. A spotlight tile takes up most of the screen, allowing the brand to highlight specific products and their functionalities.

Upsell items were enhanced by incorporating micro-interactions and animated components that provide real-time feedback to the user throughout the entire purchasing journey.
